I decided to start training again in hopes of riding in the Heart of the South 500 at the beginning of April 2007. So last week and this week I rode in to school - an 11 mile ride each way. It isn't too bad except that the last three miles in to school are all up hill. No really. They are. In fact last week, I rode the 1.25 miles between the two buildings my classrooms are in and it took me more than 10 minutes! But then, I am still pretty slow.
Furthermore, at the beginning of November, my eldest brother mentioned to me and my third eldest brother that he was writing a 50,000 word story during the month of November and we should do so to. So we did.. are. My website shows my current progress. It has been lots of fun, but I still have 11,000 words to go and only 5 more days.
